In an industry over-saturated with artists bombarding social media with Soundcloud and Youtube links, BTTN has decided to go against the grain and let their work do the talking. Rich “Parlay” Copier & Luis “Jay Suarez” Suarez both represent different cultures but bring it together to present to you a much needed breath of fresh air.

Based out of Northern New Jersey, the diversity between these two friends-turned-business associates looks like a United Colors of Benetton ad yet sounds like Drake stepped into 90s-themed party hosted by Diplo. In other words, they have a Hip-Hop based sound with an old school R&B vibe over trap drums. BTTN finds beauty in differences and welcome the idea of bringing people, of all walks of life, together by way of music.

BTTN aims to push the boundaries in order to bring about a level of creativity that is as diverse and relatable as the individuals themselves. The lyrical vernacular of humor, wit, hardships, love and unity are cleverly captured and bellowed out over their captivating sound with universal appeal. It does not stop there, though. BTTN has created a movement that has opened the doors of opportunity with involvements in the fashion industry, photography, videography and even acting.

Emphasizing on quality over quantity, BTTN has built themselves quite the catalog and plan on adding many more accomplishments to their already impressive resume.
DJ Julz
DJ Julz
DJ Julz; one of New Jersey’s most popular and and rapidly growing DJ’s; has been Djing parties, clubs,
and private events in Jersey for years. No matter the feel of the party, DJ Julz can keep the crowd
engaged and dance floor packed. Recently teaming up with Baseline & Iron Bound Productions; DJ
Julz has been responsible for throwing some of the hottest parties in NJ.
DJ Julz grew up listening to a lot of hip-hop, rock, and dance. Being heavily influenced at a young age
Julz had found a great passion for music. At the age of twelve Julz began playing the drums and by
thirteen he was in his first rock band. After years with the band Julz decided that this wasn’t the only
way he would break into the music scene. Julz worked two to three jobs while also attending school, so
that he could support his new dream. As soon as he could, Julz had bought a pair of turntables with his
hard earned money. This began something that even Julz wasn’t expecting.
Heavily inspired by the works of DJ AM, Julz only strived harder to become a better DJ. He had always
admired the dedication that AM showed to his craft and Julz easily followed the trend of hard work.
“I enjoy spinning mixed/diverse parties, because I get to play a lot of different types of music, such as
hip-hop, reggaeton, bachata, house, dembow, ect…” Julz has never been confined to one type of music, but
will defiantly give the crowd what they are looking for.
“As long as I work hard, and consistently network at every event I attend, the possibilities from here are
endless.”
Lenny Harold
The independent journey of any music artist is a difficult one. Making people believe you deserve their attention, is at the top of the list. But when you get the attention of such legends as Teddy Riley and Quincy Jones, your future gets a whole lot brighter.

Lenny Harold, a New Jersey native R&B crooner and songwriter, wears his homegrown local artist roots just as proudly as the many stamps on his passport.

Having toured the world over as a member of the reformatted legendary R&B group Blackstreet, led by the New Jack Swing creator himself, Teddy Riley, Lenny has had a hefty helping of what a major label star’s life would be like. Yet, he still grinds just as hard as any local artist you may come across. That’s what has kept Lenny Harold on the radar of many music lovers. From his winning tenure on Showtime at The Apollo [under old moniker Chanj] to his ovation grabbing tributes to Patti Labelle and Berry Gordy in the years following. Lenny’s striking tenor range mixed with smooth vibrato has even turned many of today’s industry heavyweights into mere fans from the likes of Marsha Ambrosius to Jamie Foxx.

This vocal prowess became highly evident on Lenny Harold’s first official offering, “The Journal of Wonders: Tale of The Phoenix in The Moon Labyrinth,” which led to an EP entitled “Yesterday Morning.” Which Lenny details as the full story behind “Waiting on Yesterday,” a song from that first project, of a romantic mistake.

Two years later, while with Blackstreet, Lenny would then begin a new journey of reinvention, with a project entitled, “New Testament: Mountain High,” first of a trilogy of projects to come. This musical sharing would begin to truly solidify the seriousness of his artistry, as many more took notice and loved.

But as with most unstoppable independent artists, a chance at personal success is always looming. Inspired by the experience of touring the world, finding his own fandom in places like Japan, Nigeria, London, and Germany, and sharing the stage with R&B greats, as a member of Blackstreet, Lenny felt the need to leave the group, after five years, to explore his solo career with full force.

With his latest single, “Lover,” already gaining attention, exciting the hearts of his ‘Wonders’ [the name he gave his fans] and still introducing him to more ears, there’s only greatness from here.

Lenny shares, “a new project is on its way, something bold, honest, sexy and beautiful, with a core of romance.”

Still unclear if this is part two to his trilogy or a brand-new project altogether. I’ll guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
